Under the initiative of "One Belt and One Road",the relations between China and Africa countries have entered the fast track of all-round development, and the Sino-African economic cooperation has been developing at the same time in the new era. However, the legal exchanges between China and African countries need to be deepened.Perspectives on the Legal Guardianship of Children in C?te d'Ivoire,South Africa and Uganda mainly introduces the legal guardianship measures for children in African countries, mainly involving the legal guardianship model in three countries, namely,C?te d'Ivoire,South Africa and Uganda. The author selects the third and fourth chapters of Perspectives on the Legal Guardianship of Children in C?te d'Ivoire,South Africa and Uganda as the translation practice materials.Among them, the third chapter introduces the legal guardianship models of C?te d'Ivoire,South Africa and Uganda, and investigates different models of the three countries;the fourth chapter analyzes the similarities and differences of the three countries' guardianship models, and lists the advantages and disadvantages of each model compared with other countries. The selected chapters contain a large number of words that reflect the formality of English legal texts and sentence patterns that are worth studying.Under the guidance of stylistic theory by Wang Zuoliang, the author analyzes the key points and difficulties in the translation practice report. The linguistic features of the translation practice are as follows: first, there are a large number of classical words, modal words and common words with legal meaning in the English legal texts;second, there are many conditional sentences, passive sentences, compound sentence and other sentences in the legal sentence patterns to reflect the legal specialty. In view of the key points and difficulties in this translating practical text, the author combines the specific cases in the English legal text, uses the translation methods, including Embedding,Cutting,Literal Translation,Free Translation and so on,and analyzes this text from the legal text perspective of lexical formality and syntactic specialization. Finally, the author summarizes the translation practice. The translation of Perspectives on the Legal Guardianship of Children in C?te d'Ivoire,South Africa and Uganda is conducive to the Chinese readers' further understanding of African countries' initiatives on children's rights. The author hopes that this translation practice task will enable the readers to learn more about African countries from the perspective of the legal system,so as to promote the legal exchanges between China and Africa.
