With the advent of the 21 st century,China's film industry has entered an era of rapid development.As the total box office continues to break records,cinema access has become an integral part of popular entertainment.In the process of the diversification of the film market,the road movie has entered the audience's field of vision with its high box office performance and high artistic value.With the continuous innovation and exploration of Chinese road film directors,compared with European and American road films,Chinese road films have undergone a series of local changes in narrative modes,forming unique narrative techniques.Taking a large number of Chinese road movies since the new century as the research object,this paper focuses on the narrative mode and narrative technique of Chinese road movies,and divides the paper into four parts:First chapter is the introduction part,first of all,this paper expounds the type in the current China road movie still as film under the new form of the selected topic background,research status at home and abroad based on the identified in this paper,the research object of study,and summarizes the concept of road movie: "the road movie" is the product of many types of movies in one.In the process of development,"road movie" does not produce new narrative mode and structure,but gives space flow on the basis of different types of movies,and gives a deeper theme of "vagrancy,defection,freedom",which mainly explains the relationship between people,man and nature.The second chapter,starting from the narrative techniques of Chinese road movies,compares the differences between European and American road movies,and concludes that Chinese road movies are more authentic in terms of narrative techniques,more comedic in terms of the content of plays,and more diversified in the setting and selection of characters.The third chapter from the Chinese road movie's narrative pattern as the basis,through the comparison of Chinese and foreign road movie,China road movie is summarized in the narrative mode of unique form,such as on the way to travel to abandon the European and American road movie "passive" travel,added more self thinking active,leading itself on the choice of narrative space,China road movie shows significantly more abundant natural landscape and human landscape,the most important thing is to highlight the significance for China's "home" culture motif of thinking.The fourth chapter starts with the narrative features and introduces the metaphorical use of Chinese road movies in the empty scene,the ingenious integration of local dialects and different descriptions of urban landscape to show the development of Chinese road movies.The last chapter part combined with the personal video "Escape",above technique to fusion road movie narrative development process,combined with China's road movie narrative and various advantages of narrative mode,through to the real social subject selection,and the particularity of character set,has finally returned to the "family" motif that spirit conception.
