Under the background of global economic integration,contemporary art,relying on its own development track,conforms to the changes of the times,influences each other and absorbs each other,forming prosperous artistic scenes.Pop art revolves around mass culture and commercial economy,making the connection between technology and art more and more close.Pop art has become the main carrier of economy,culture and technology.It has an important turning point in the history of art.The visual transformation of commercial cultural symbols in pop art has always been the motif that artists explore.Artists try to find a balance between art and commercial cultural symbols.This article attempts to analyze the graphic symbols in pop art,combining symbol consumption theory,popular culture and commercial culture to discuss the visual mode and metaphorical meaning of commercial symbols as media in contemporary art.Under different social,economic and political backgrounds,commercial and cultural symbols always maintain their identity and universality.In contemporary art practice,symbols are materialized and fragmented in commercial culture.How to clearly express artistic autonomy in artistic works is one of the topics worth studying on the development status of pop art in China.In order to strengthen the cultural self-confidence of famous ethnic groups and make a more in-depth study of the aesthetic consciousness and graphic language of contemporary Chinese popular culture,the purpose of this paper is not only to discuss the practical ways in which pop art can develop in the commercial torrent under the background of global integration,the symbiotic relationship between Chinese local culture and popular culture,but also to have a general understanding of the transformation rules between pop art and commerce through the analysis of symbols.The connection and interpretation between symbols and specific things are basedon human will and interact with graphic language through human life experience and cultural practice.Commercial culture symbols are symbols in capitalism,and are additional products of commodities besides value and use value.Commercial culture can classify audience groups well and can reflect the cultural characteristics of consumers.Consumer groups expand symbols through the interpretation and use of commercial culture.Pop artists use such artistic methods as appropriation,collage and re-creation to carry out artistic practice and commercial interaction to realize artistic autonomy.Through this study,we can draw a conclusion that the symbol transformation of art in commercial activities should be implemented in the real environment to deconstruct the current culture and graphic symbols to realize the order of symbols.
