In this paper, we definite the concepts of cultural symbols based on the semiotics geographical symbols,which are mainly from the perspective of visual design exploration, how to create regional cultural symbols, how to explain the significance of geographical and cultural symbols, and how to achieve geographical and cultural symbols in the field of commercial print advertisements, respectively. And we further discussed its effective in the print advertisements of the communication and the role of the psychological impact of the audience. Advertising is a cross-border, cross-cultural commodity marketing promotion form. Different countries, different nationalities, different cultural groups have different traditional cultures, values, consumer attitudes and so on. As an important type of advertising, the key to the success of print advertising is positioning, creative expression and the type of language. Above all, the cultural factors which play an important role in the design of local cultural symbols and research are particularly important and necessary.
