With the developing of international communication,English has been paid attention by the national education department.Reading is the main way for students to improve their English ability.In the examinations,the students' reading level is also important.Therefore,English teaching in primary school,especially English reading,has become a great requirement in the teaching.However,from the actual teaching situation,many students can not meet the requirements of the curriculum,students' learning effect is not good.Many teachers have not mastered effective teaching methods,which leads to a greater improvement in English reading.Compared with the junior pupils,the senior have learned more English.They have their own views on the study of English.Tree Diagram is a comprehensive learning strategy about English learning.Using Tree Diagram,the changing process of thinking can be displayed intuitively,which is in line with the physiological and psychological characteristics of the pupils.Therefore,this paper studies the application of Tree Diagram in the senior English reading,and expounds the application effect.It is hoped that this teaching method can stimulate students' interest in learning,improve their reading ability and the quality of English reading teaching.This paper is mainly the practical study of the teaching of Tree Diagram in the senior grade,and selects the literature method to collect and collate the relevant literature,so as to understand the progress of the relevant research in China and abroad,and the research results of the experts and scholars in this field,and lay a solid theoretical foundation for the research of this paper.The present situation of English reading teaching is analyzed by means of questionnaires,and the application effect of Tree Diagram teaching is verified through specific teaching comparison.The main purpose of this study is to focus on two aspects.The first is to introduce Tree Diagram into the teaching of senior English reading,to understand the basic formation process and characteristics of Tree Diagram,and to find the new application of Tree Diagram as an auxiliary tool in combination with the characteristics of English Reading Teaching.The second is to analyze the effect of Tree Diagram in the course of teaching English reading,stimulate students' interest in learning,and let students improve their learning methods in English reading,and prepare for the early litre.This paper,starting with the current educational background and the characteristics of the pupils,analyzes the present situation of the English reading teaching in primary schools.Reading a large number of literature lays the theoretical foundation for this article.Through the in-depth study of xx Primary School,this paper investigates the status of English reading teaching in primary schools,provides the necessary environmental support for the application of Tree Diagram,and understands the actual situation of English reading teaching in xx Primary School.The Tree Diagram is applied to the English reading teaching in xx Primary School,the development process of Tree Diagram is expounded,and the early analysis of the application teaching in xx Primary School is made,including the teaching objectives,teaching contents,students' characteristics,teaching environment and so on.The Tree Diagram is designed in combination with the actual situation.Finally,analyzing the application effect of Tree Diagram in the teaching of English reading.Through the comparative teaching experiment of two classes of homogeneity,the application effect of Tree Diagram is analyzed with the help of students' achievements by means of questionnaire.The experimental results show that the application of Tree Diagram is helpful to improve students' English achievement,stimulate students' interest in English learning,improve students' reading ability,self-learning and cooperation ability.
