Books are divided into two forms by humans: e-books and traditional paper books.The former is the product of the information age,and the latter is the essence of traditional culture.Chinese traditional book art has its own form of change,following the evolution of "Oracle-Simplified-Reel-Book-Ming-Qing Line-Paper-packed Book Binding".Lu Xun is a pioneer in the art of modern bookbinding.He has learned from the ancient and modern book design ideas,and he has eclecticism.In the 1980 s,the scene of prosperity was revived.Lu Jingren absorbed the advanced concept of predecessor book design and created a contemporary Chinese book design system.For the first time,Lu Jingren clearly put forward the concept of “binding” to “book design”,which is a fundamental change.His book design combines culture and reading value.Based on the essence of Chinese traditional culture,he draws on the modern Western book design concept and forms a unique concept of book design,which deepens the concept and practice of book design.The understanding of the road,from the dual structure of the book morphology "shape","demeanor","art × engineering = design 2" and its "book building"structure to "book design 3 +1"(editing design,arrangement Design,binding design,visual information design)discusses the evolution process of the academic concept of binding design to book design,and expands the performance space and creative form of book design.The evolution of Lu Jingren's academic concept of book design combines the experience of40 years of book making.In November 2017 and August 2018,he exhibited at the Beijing Today Art Museum and Shanghai Liu Haisu Art Museum.".As a Chinese book designer,his respect for Chinese traditional culture and his strong emotions are reflected in the design of books.It provides a new direction for the development of Chinese books,injecting new life,and providing a new generation of designers with development ideas.
