Modern Reflection Of Wanderers

Shu Guozhi is one of the important writers in recent years whose theme is "travel,diet".But if we only define Shu Guozhi's prose by "travel and diet",it will be narrow.From the perspective of Benjamin's "urban wanderer",this paper will discuss Shu Guozhi's new orientation as a urban wanderer: only by radically discarding the value system of "exchange","sale","consumption" and turning to the aesthetic construction of self-creation and rich imagination centered on subjectivity,can we understand the public,but at the same time,we should keep a distance from reflection and turn passive acceptance into passive acceptance.Only by initiative creation can the life of modern people possibly be restored to its subjectivity.Firstly,this paper interprets the connotations of the travel modes chosen by the roamers: the experience of walking,private cars,buses,trains,metros and other different means of transport together constitute the roamers' mobile experience,which,as a metaphor,skillfully connects the roaming subject and the city,and through various possibilities of the body,makes efforts to restore the subjectivity.Then,during his journey,Shu Guozhi could not avoid all kinds of social space in the city.The space was discourse.Rovers shuttled through cafes,hotels,snack shops and streets.They not only observed and recorded the space,but also discussed the city,constructed the city and deduced and interpreted the history and culture of the city.If Shu Guozhi's urban experience is based on the Western form,then he finds his place in the spirit of "leisure" in the East.The unique aesthetics of life,such as being close to nature,conforming to the law of the body,and advocating the slow rhythm,is his prescription for the spiritual crisis faced by modern urbanites.Finally,leisure,capriciousness and nature,as the behavioral orientation of Shu Guozhi,are also reflected in the aesthetic art of his prose.The unique value of Shu Guozhi's prose is jointly constructed by detached third-person perspective,tense words and sentences,and the artistic atmosphere of blending East and West.
