| Since the 21 st century,Jay Chou has become a symbolic figure in the Chinese pop music scene.He and Fang Wenshan have created a mew field of “Chinese style” pop songs.They have been leading the way for nearly 20 years,“Chou’s rap” spread widely and it has even become the highest level of Chinese rap music.In the past 20 years,Jay Chou’s pop songs have influenced the post-90 s and post-00 s,becoming a unique popular culture phenomenon.This dissertation takes the influence of Jay Chou’s pop songs on youth as the research topic,collects relevant literature,browses the audio and video of Jay Chou’s pop songs on the internet,interviews Jay Chou’s videos,fan messages,and so on.According to Jay Chou’s pop music style and content,this dissertation classifies them into five categories,and makes an in-depth analysis of the influence of his most representative songs on youth,in order to explore the internal laws of the influence of contemporary popular culture on youth.The text is divided into seven parts: introduction,including the reasons for the selection of the topic,literature review,the research significance and research methods.The first chapter summarizes Jay Chou’s influence and the culture image of the youth in his music,including Jay Chou’s musical achievements,the influence of Jay Chou’s pop songs,and the youth cultural image of Jay Chou’s pop songs.The second chapter analyzes the characteristics of Jay Chou’s most representative “Chinese style” songs and its influence on youth.The third chapter summarizes the characteristics of Jay Chou’s rap songs and its influence on youth.The fourth chapter summarizes Jay Chou’s inspirational songs and the influence on youth.The fifth chapter summarizes the love view contained in Jay Chou’s love songs,and its influence on youth.The sixth chapter summarizes Jay Chou’s reflecting social reality songs and exotic customs songs,as well as the influence on youth.The seventh chapter explains the controversial content of Jay Chou’s pop songs,and the negative impact that his idol image have on youth.By deeply and systematically studying the influence of Jay Chou’s pop songs on youth,this paper affirms the positive factors of Jay Chou’s pop songs,and explores why popular culture is widely popular among youth.By objectively analyze the content that Jay Chou’s personal image may have a negative impact on youth,in order to comprehensively and objectively view the influence of Jay Chou’s pop songs on youth. |
