| Fifty-five volumes of “Min Da ji” is a record of Fu jian history compiled by Wang Ying shan,a deputy official(now Fuzhou),in the early years of Wan li in Ming Dynasty.This book is mainly based on local chronicles such as Ba min Tong zhi,official historical documents such as Shi ji,anthology notes and personal travels.It is composed of nine parts,namely,map scriptures,notes,tables,textual research,family biography,biography,action and external biography.It is based on the simplified abbreviations,full-text photographs,supplements and textual research.The previous Fu jian history has been recorded comprehensively and systematically,which has important reference value for future generations to study Fu jian’s history,culture and characters.However,due to its lack of some contents and even a lot of errors,most of the cited documents do not indicate the source,which also caused inconvenience and misleading for future generations to use the book.The existing editions of the book include the old copies of Wan li collected by the National Library of China,the ten-year copies of Wan li collected by the Shanghai Library,the Wan li copies collected by the Fu jian Provincial Library,Chen Shouqi’s handwritten copies,the copies collected by the Taipei Palace Museum and the point-by-point editions of the Fu jian Provincial Local Chronicle Compilation Committee. |
