| Based on the relevant research and theory of the textbook evaluation,this research conducts the comparative study between two series of elementary Business Chinese textbook which are almost same in difficulty levels and publishing date.The comparative study covers the scope from macro to micro and the comparison between whole and details which include text,vocabulary,grammar and exercises.Considering all the factors.The research finds that "New Silk Road" textbook which is famous for the lively and broad-audience style and "Win in China" textbook which is well known as serious both have their own advantages.In terms of vocabulary,although the gap between the two series of textbook is large,the average vocabulary of each lesson is almost similar and reasonable.As for the proportion of vocabularies that are not in the outline list,the two series of textbook are both about 30%.However,the super-level words are more than 50%,which indicates that the vocabulary is too difficult.In terms of grammar,the number of grammar topics in the two series of textbook has no big difference,both of them are around six.In the division of grammar items,both sets of textbooks adopt the method of “reconstruction to zero”,which divides the grammar points into the smallest unit;The method named “reconstruction to zero”,which divides the grammar points into the smallest unit,are used in the division of grammar items in the two series of textbook.In the grammar project arrangement,the two series of textbook also follow the principle of the gradual progress that is from elementary to profound.With regard to exercises,this research proposes a method to measure the amount of exercises according to the ratio between the teaching time and completing time,and finally concludes that it takes two periods to completing the amount of exercises in a lesson of the “New Silk Road”. |
