With the rapid development of China's economy and culture,cultural exchanges between China and other countries in the world are becoming increasingly close.As the most direct and flexible way of communication,escort interpreting builds a bridge between different cultures and languages and plays an important role in maintaining and promoting communication,even in deepening the cooperation in economy and culture.This is an interpreting practice report focusing on the escort interpreting of Quatra Duo China tour from October 10,2019 to October 21,2019.The main task of the author is to interpret for the two concert performers in performance,scenic spots and daily life.This report is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is task description,which is elaborated from three aspects: background of the task,requests from the client and features of the task.The second chapter is process description.In chronology order,it can be divided into pre-interpreting description,interpreting process and post-interpreting quality evaluation.The third chapter is case analysis.Under the guidance of Verschueren's Adaptation Theory,the author starts from the perspective of contextual correlates adaptation and analyzes them with specific examples from three aspects: linguistic context,cultural context and situational context.The fourth chapter is conclusion,which summarizes the problems that should be paid attention to in interpreting practice,and the inspiration and introspection for future work and learning.Through this interpreting practice,the author realized that there were still many deficiencies.The author will constantly improve her qualities and abilities.Finally,the author hopes that this report will provide reference for future interpreters.
