In the history of contemporary Chinese literature,XuHuaizhong is one of the few writers who do not win by the number of works.All kinds of creations add up to no more than 30 pieces,but each work alone is enough to cause repercussions in the literary world.XuHuaizhong is modest and low-key,his works adhere to the people-oriented,and use time narrative to break the plot centered structure,desalinate the mainstream cultural background,and maintain a unique style.This paper attempts to connect all stages of XuHuaizhong's works,grasp his creative style as a whole,jump out of the limitations of the times,and find a proper place for him in the history of literature.Reading XuHuaizhong's works carefully and combining relevant research materials,we can divide his creation into three periods.In different periods,he is constantly breaking through the shackles in theme,character and structure,calmly breaking through the encirclement,and at the same time,he insists on writing the background of human nature to find his own way out.This paper mainly adopts the methods of text close reading and literature research and analysis.First of all,it carefully reads XuHuaizhong's novels,Xu Huaizhong's research materials,interview records,and XuHuaizhong's ideological resources related books,so as to understand the author's life,creation overview,writing background,and make an accurate grasp and analysis of XuHuaizhong's works.Secondly,we should read books related to the characterization,lyrical structure and the theory of human nature in the 1950 s,1980s and the new century,grasp the relevant theories and background,especially the bibliography of military subject research,and have a macro grasp of the overall knowledge concept.Finally,we need to collect and sort out the relevant research results of this topic,deepen understanding,find breakthrough points,form a research perspective,put Xu Huaizhong in a large historical context,and explore his unique significance.The first chapter mainly studies the theme of XuHuaizhong's creation.Since the beginning of his creation,XuHuaizhong has always insisted on creating based on his own experience,and has been pursuing the brightness of human nature.In the earlystage of creation,based on the experience rooted in Tibet,the works try to show the objective reality of life and highlight the personality of people under the construction of national consciousness.In the middle period,starting from the anecdote of the western front,I tried to create a hero with flesh and blood and take rational care of the theme of human nature.In the mature period of creation,we should break away from all kinds of constraints and write the true beauty of life freely.The second chapter mainly studies the characters in XuHuaizhong's works.From the creation in the 1950 s to the beginning of the new century,the development and change of XuHuaizhong's character creation is very obvious.From the group images with a single character at the beginning of creation to the heroes who have made extraordinary achievements by ordinary individuals,we can see that the characters grow up a little bit under his pen,until they reach the realm of ecstasy and fascination.It seems that this is the real person around,but it seems that such a person can not be found.The third chapter mainly starts from the time narrative to explore how Xu Huaizhong gradually desalinates the plot centered structure and moves towards the poetic lyric structure.In narrative,the use of time jumping,juxtaposition or even fracture,to fragment the plot,leaving readers with more blank thinking,more thought-provoking.The fourth chapter mainly stands in the angle of Chinese contemporary literature history,leaps out of the time factor,studies XuHuaizhong's unique significance.Xu Huaizhong has a broad mind,the absorption of Chinese traditional factors,the reference and innovation of Russian and Soviet literature,which makes his works not only have the Chinese classical flavor,but also have a world vision,and have the pioneering contribution to Chinese military literature.At the same time,he is not arrogant and impetuous,willing to slow down to listen to the small voice of the times,and at the same time,he can calmly break through at the edge of literature while sticking to the background of creation It's worth learning from every literati at present to find their own creative ideas.
