As one of the three major religions in the world,Christianity contains the legal thoughts and the concept of the rule of law,which has laid a deep theoretical foundation for the emergence of modern international law.The Bible,ecclesiastical law,theological doctrine,factional theory of the Reformation,and so on have influenced the international law to varying degrees in different periods of time.They have not only inspired the concept of international law,but also promoted it.The establishment of the European international system.The spread of "justification by faith",the implementation of the bishop appointment system,and the proliferation of Christian non-governmental organizations spread Christianity's thoughts on human rights,equality,and benevolence to the international community,thereby promoting the democratization of international law.From the origins of international law to the concept of sovereign states and the creation of basic principles of international law,Christianity has shown a significant influence.The "civilized nations" mentioned in the general legal principles of the origin of international law are closely related to the "Christian world" in Europe.The emergence of nation states and the establishment of the concept of sovereignty are closely related to the Holy See and the Reformation.The principles of peace in international law and The Bible and the pope arbitration system have many similarities.In addition,the principle of treaty compliance also reflects the "treaty must be adhered to" principle of ecclesiastical law.The idea of human rights in modern international law originated from Roman law under the influence of ancient Greece.The formation of the theory of international law of war is inseparable from an important theology in Christianity,namely,Augustine's doctrine of just war.The management and operation of Christian non-governmental organizations Need to trace back to Christianity.Therefore,dialectically drawing on the reasonable core of Christianity,fully exploring its basic role in international regulations and its role in creating a future international environment will help to better play its role in promoting the democratization of international law.This article is mainly divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction,which mainly includes the research purpose,research significance,research status,research methods and innovations of this article.The second part analyzes and analyzes the meaning of democratization of international law.Start with the concept of democratization,analyze the concrete manifestation of the democratization of international law in international relations,and study the relationship between it and Christianity.The third part mainly studies the Christian genes in the process of democratization of international law.First,find out the roots of the democratic spirit of international law from Christianity,divide the factors of the democratization of international law reflected in Christianity and make a more in-depth study,and finally discuss the main medium of Christianity to spread its ideas.The fourth part explains the reflection of Christian factors in the process of democratizing international law.From the perspective of the origin of international law,the concept of sovereignty,and the basic principles of international law,the relationship between the conformity of Christianity and the thought of Christianity in the process of democratization of international law is explained,and the legal thoughts that have a profound impact on modern international law in Christianity are analyzed.The fifth part is the legal reflection on Christianity's in-depth promotion of democratic governance in the international community.From the international regulations and the development trend of the future international society,the role of Christianity and Christian non-governmental organizations in the promotion of future international relations and the democratization of international law has been judged.Human rights and democratic ideas in Christianity have been used as excuses for some Western countries to interfere in other countries' internal affairs.
