Research On The Design And Expression Of Traditional Thread-Bound Books In Modern Times

As an important carrier of Chinese traditional culture,thread-bound book carries the charm of Chinese traditional culture.With the development of human society,history and culture,it has made great contributions to the maturity and perfection of the book system and still has strong artistic charm in modern times.In today's fast-changing information age,ideas are changing and so are designs.It tries to gradually improve the cultural taste and aesthetic function of thread-bound books through a new design concept and a new visual design,and endowing thread-bound books with various forms of expression and unique design style.This paper explores the design and expression of traditional thread-bound books in modern times.By sorting out the theoretical knowledge of traditional thread-bound books and analyzing the current excellent thread-bound books,it explores the innovative expression of modern thread-bound books and its cultural value.Firstly,the evolution process and visual design of traditional thread-bound books are studied in depth.Secondly,through the analysis of current excellent works of thread-bound books,this paper explores the innovation of traditional design concept,visual design,and the application of new materials and new techniques in modern thread-bound book design,which is the key research content of this paper.Finally,the design of thread-bound books is considered.Based on the relevant literature,case studies,case analysis and so on several kinds of research methods,analysis of modern designers in the form and content of how to coordinate the books in the new period,how to achieve the perfect combination of Chinese traditional elements and modern technology,hope that through this article research can provide theoretical basis for thefuture spiral-bound books design,can provide an idea for future book designer and creative direction.
