A Study Of Mongolian Food Related Idioms

In this paper,630 food related idioms in the Mongolian idiom dictionary are used as the research objects,and the research methods of description,statistics,semantics and cultural linguistics are used to classify and count the food related idioms in Mongolian,reveal their characteristics in content and form,and further analyze the cultural content of food related idioms in Mongolian.This paper consists of five parts: introduction,chapter one,chapter two,chapter three and summary.The first chapter,first of all,briefly introduces the varieties of Mongolian traditional food and traditional drink.Secondly,it classifies the Mongolian food related idioms.Finally,it summarizes the thinking mode of producing Mongolian food related idioms.The second chapter,from the two aspects of material civilization and spiritual civilization,analyzes the Mongolian idioms related to food and reveals the cultural connotation.The third chapter analyzes the characteristics of Mongolian idioms related to diet in terms of rhetorical methods,rhetorical methods and rhetorical functions.
