Since the reform and opening up,China's overall strength has become stronger and stronger.With the rapid development of China's economy and trade,the people's living standards have been greatly improved.The world is getting more and more aware of China,and China is also actively participating in international affairs.Its status in the world continues to increase and its influence in the world continues to expand.The ensuing Chinese boom continues to rise.I was fortunate to be a Chinese language teacher volunteer sent by the Confucius Institute / Hanban and taught Chinese language teachers for nine months at S School in J Province,Thailand.During this period,I was concerned that Thai students generally use their native Chinese phonetic learning method.In order to further understand the effect of Thai phonetic transcription method on students,and to be able to guide.I collected the phonetic materials of the students,so as to understand the current situation of the students' Chinese proficiency,analyze the pros and cons of Thai phonetic transcription in the teaching process,and explore reasonable application methods.This article first outlines the Chinese teaching situation and the learner's basic characteristics of S School in J Province.Next,the research on the use of Thai Pinyin and Hanyu Pinyin by our students is divided into four parts,which are progressively analyzed from the four aspects of motivation,specific phonetic conditions,pros and cons,and coping methods.The first part introduces the reasons why students use the phoneticmethod of Thai.Through communication with teachers and students in Thailand and searching for related documents and records,this article explains the reasons why students use Thai phonetic transcription from four perspectives.Starting from the language ontology,the similarity of the Han-Thai phonetic system makes it possible for Thai phonetic transcription.Secondly,from the perspective of beginners,this method conforms to the logic of cognitive psychology,reflecting the connection between human perception and stored knowledge and experience.In addition,being guided by the teaching methods of native Thai teachers,textbooks,and dictionaries,as well as the advantages of this method to help students quickly record sounds,have prompted students to use them frequently.The second part is the integrated display and correctness analysis of the collected phonetic materials of students.By sorting out the students' phonetic notation,list the students' "Thai Zhuyin" for initials,finals and tones,and describe their pronunciations one by one,comparing the similarities and differences between phonetic elements and syllables of Pinyin phonemes and "Thai Zhuyin".The third part is to analyze the pros and cons of Thai phonetic transcription based on the previous article.The beneficial aspects mainly reflect the positive impact on students,such as improving the efficiency of students ' memorizing Pinyin,improving fluency in reading Chinese and enhancing learning confidence.In addition,there is no lack of reasonable content in Thai phonetic transcription,which can provide teachers with an additional phonetic teaching idea.The disadvantage is that this method leads to a large number of phonetic errors,and the types and causes of the errors are specifically analyzed.In addition,it will cause students to ignore the influence of Pinyin mnemonics,and there are practical problems that Chinese teachers are difficult to guide.The last part clarifies the attitude of this article to Thai phonetic transcription and puts forward phonetic teaching suggestions.On the one hand,for the same phonemes in Han Thai,it cannot be taken for granted simply,and students should be actively guided to migrate to optimize the teaching effect."Thai Zhuyin" is actually a manifestation of learners consciously learning Chinese phonetics,which is in line with the learner-centered educational philosophy.As a teacher,you should look at such phenomena with a more inclusive attitude,analyze the phonetic theory behind it,transform academic knowledge into teaching language and practical means,and make it consistent with the learner ' s psychological cognition state,thereby promoting Chinese acquisition.On the other hand,for some disturbing phonemes that are similar in Chinese and Thai,we can also draw on the idea of "Thai Zhuyin" and use the old Thai phonetic habits to guide and compare the new Chinese phonemes.In addition to other teaching methods,the ultimate goal is to improve the students' pronunciation.
