The Study Of Wang Hui And His Essays

Wang Hui(1023-1065),also called “ Shen Fu ”,was born in Houguan,Fuzhou in the Northern Song Dynasty.Wang Hui was good at ancient prose,he was active participant in the movement of ancient prose and had a place in the literary circle.But because most of his writings have been lost in later generations,his reputation has become lower and lower.The academic circle did not given Wang Hui enough attention and the research on him is relatively scattered and unsystematic.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter examines Wang Hui's family and his life,determines Houguan Wang's pedigree,and corrects the academic circle's wrong views on Wang Ping(Wang Hui's father)and Wang Wen(Wang Hui's nephew).The second chapter focuses on the Wang Hui's social connections and generally clarifies the situation.The third chapter focuses on Wang Hui's creation,goes deep into the work itself,and studies his creation and thoughts.The fourth chapter is the collation and annotation of Wang Hui's poems and articles.
