There were five central figures of poets in Jin Dynasty, called "Two Lus and Three Zhangs" for short. Among "Three Zhangs", Zhang Xie made the greatest achievements in literature. In comparison with the ornate and tedious writing style, Zhang's writing was 'concise but vivid. He was capable of describing things as they were by using the simple words. His masterpiece was QI MING. ZASHI SHISHOU, which covered many aspects of life and deep emotions. Zhang Xie's reputation was greater than Mr.Pan and Mr.Lu's in terms of the lofty ideals and the refreshing writing. As for the "soul" of Jing Yang's poetry, it was very Taoist, for he employed the tradition of "Xian Qin Lao Zhuang". Apartment from the influence of SHI JIN,CHU CI,HAN YUE FU and GU SHI SHIJIU SHOU, his formation of thoughts and style were strongly influenced by Ji Kang, Zuo Si and Cao Zhi, etc. The visual images created through the poems and linguistic expressions shared many similarities with the literary predecessors. Jing Yang imposed a profound influence on the later generations of poets in terms of the inner temperament and outside linguistic expressions. He influenced many reputed poets, such as Tao Yuan Ming, Xie Ling Yun, Bao Zhao, Li Bai and Su Shi, etc.It is necessary and meaningful to arrange, collate and annotate the works of such an important writer.This thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is the introduction. In this part, the author has made a rough inquiry about Zhang Xie's life, ideal and contribution to the literature.
