Fear of negative evaluation refers to the fear of individual's negative evaluation of others.In the current society,junior high school students are under increasing pressure.At the same time,they are in a special period of adolescence that their body and psychology are in a rapid development stage.And they are is in the second stage of life.Fear of negative evaluation has a great influence on junior high school students.In addition,junior high school students are most rely on external support and protection.And the social support for junior high school students has a very important role.To study the fear of negative evaluation of junior high school students and understand the impact of social support on the fear of negative evaluation can effectively intervene the fear of negative evaluation of the students.This study takes 487 students from a junior high school of Beijing as the research object,and uses the negative evaluation fear scale,junior high school social support scale,core self-evaluation scale,and subjective well-being scale as measurement tools to explore the overall status of the social support,fear of negative evaluation,core self-evaluation and subjective well-being of the students and the relationship between them.The research shows:First,the social support,core self-evaluation and subjective well-being of junior high school students are different in demographic variables such as gender,grade and only child or not.Second,the social support,core self-evaluation and subjective well-being of junior high school students are negatively correlated with fear of negative evaluation.Third,the subjective well-being of junior high school students plays a completely mediating role between social support and fear of negative evaluation.
