Duan Yucai did not have a special study on the works of Shi Ming,his research on Shi Ming mainly focused on "Shuo Wen Jie Zi Note".According to statistics,Shuo Wen Jie Zi Note quotes 318 materials of the book of interpretation,according to which this paper discusses Duan Yucai's research on the book of interpretation,which includes the collation of the book,the interpretation and evaluation of the book,as well as the inheritance and development of the sound training of the book.It realizes the use of the book from the aspects of shape,sound,meaning,construction and sound training.As a work with the purpose of exploring the origin of the name of a subject by the sound training,Shi Ming opens the door to the study of etymology,and is also the source of duan's concept of "meaning exists in sounds" in shuowenjiezi annotations.Therefore,Duan Yucai is inextricably linked with the sound training of "name of liberation" in both material and concept.Shi Ming in the Angle of the evaluation of low in the qing dynasty,annotation reference still plenty of "Shi Ming entry to annotate Shuo Wen Jie Zi",through the analysis of the specific items,you can see annotation has pointed out the mistake for the correction of,also has seeking common ground while putting aside differences,to a certain extent,to admit that the difference between different future scholars.On the whole,duan yucai does not stick to the shortcomings of the content of the explanation in the book,but pays more attention to the concept of exploring the meaning with the voice.The purpose of this paper is to discuss Duan Yucai's cognition and application of "Shi Ming",as well as the origin of their sound training,and to point out his position in the history of the study of "Shi Ming".
