The field of second language teaching never stops exploring teaching methods.Nowadays,Chinese education is developing rapidly,and higher requirements are put forward for the study of teaching methods.What kind of teaching method is used in classroom teaching,how to better apply it to teaching,has become one of the most concerned issues in the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Production-oriented Approach is a localized teaching theory and method in China.It was proposed by Professor Wen Qiufang and her team of Beijing Foreign Studies University.Its prototype is “output-driven hypothesis”.After more than ten years of continuous development and improvement,a relatively mature theoretical system has been formed.Production-oriented Approach is proposed to solve the problem of “separation of learning and use” in the second language teaching in China.It is an exploration of constructing foreign language teaching theories with Chinese characteristics.At present,Production-oriented Approach has achieved fruitful results in the field of college English teaching.Although it has not been widely used in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.But the existing teaching experiments have preliminarily proved the effectiveness of Production-oriented Approach in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.I believe in the future,with the continuous exploration of Production-oriented Approach in the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and the continuous expansion of the application scope,it will attract more attention from researchers and teachers of Chinese as a foreign language,and make greater contributions to the development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.This thesis attempts to apply Production-oriented Approach to teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Take the fourth lesson of “Developing Chinese(Second Edition)Advanced Comprehensive ?”--“My First Job”as an example for teaching design.This thesis consists of five parts.The first part mainly describes the research background,significance and methods of this thesis,and review relevant research of Production-oriented Approach.The second part summarizes the theoretical system of Production-oriented Approach,and analyzes the advantages of the Production-oriented Approach,and the feasibility of the Production-oriented Approach in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The third part is the teaching design principles and background analysis of “My First Job”.The background analysis of teaching design including teaching objects,teaching materials and teaching key points and difficulties.The fourth part is the focus of this thesis—the specific teaching design of “My First Job”.According to the teaching process of Production-oriented Approach,the specific teaching design is divided into three parts: iprepare link,iexplore link and iproduce link.It will be completed in eight class hours.In the iproduce link,the total productive task is divided into four sub-tasks,the completion of sub-tasks also follows the teaching process of “iprepare—iexplore—iproduce”.The fifth part is the conclusion,which summarizes the thesis.
