A Model Of The Relationship Between Mobile Phone Self-expansion,Subject Well-being And Sense Of Control

With the growth of Internet and imformation technology,As one of the important media of Internet information technology,mobile phone has changed our inherent way of life,and even become an indispensable part of our life,which has a great impact on our life.College students are one of the main groups using mobile phones.The novel experience and huge information library brought by mobile phones also meet the psychological needs of college students seeking free and independent thinking.Therefore,whether the use of mobile phones will affect the subjective well-being of college students.The self-expansion model includes self-expansion motivation and the inclusion of others into the self.The theoretical model believes that everyone has a self-expansion motivation and improves his ability and self-efficacy by incorporating other people 's resources,opinions,and identities into the self.Current research mainly focuses on the influence of mobile phone dependence and mobile phone addiction on college students.However,any technology has two sides,and the key is the motivation that people how to use it.Therefore,this study discusses the self-expansion brought by mobile phone use and its impact on subjective well-being.In this study,the relationship between mobile phone self-expansion and subjective well-being was confirmed,and the mediating effect of the sense of control was further explored,in an attempt to further expand the research perspective of mobile phone use and enrich the self-expansion theory.The 310 subjects selected in this study are college students.The main content of this study is to investigate the influence of college students' mobile phone selfexpansion on subjective well-being;The differences of mobile phone self-expansion,subjective well-being and sense of control in demographic variables were analyzed.This paper discusses the relationship among self-expansion,subjective well-being and sense of control of college students' mobile phones.The results show that:(1)College students' s mobile phone self-expansion of is above the average level,and there is no significant difference among all demographic variables;(2)College students' subjective well-being(SWB)is generally at a medium level,and the SWB of college students is significantly different in terms of household registration.The SWB score of urban students is significantly higher than that of rural students;(3)The sense of control of college students is at a medium level,and there is no significant difference among all demographic variables;(4)The mobile phone self-expansion of college students' were significantly positive correlated with subjective well-being,the mobile phone selfexpansion were significantly positive correlated with the sense of control,and the subjective well-being of college students' were significantly positive correlated with the sense of control;(5)college students' mobile phone self-expansion has a predictive effect on subjective well-being,and the sense of control is the mediating variable of subjective well-being of mobile phone self-expansion.
