From the perspective of the development of musical ability,this study selects the Social Music Level National Music Listening Test of the Chinese Musicians Association,the Social Art Level Basic Music Discipline Test of the China Conservatory of Music,and the Aural Test of the Joint Committee of the Royal Conservatory of Music(ABRSM),as the objects of study,which account for a large proportion of examinees,cover a wide range of test content,and have a wide influence in the domestic social music examinations.Through a vertical and horizontal comparative study of the solfeggio grading examination systems of the three grading examination institutions,it aims to analyze the differences between the focuses and the directional objectives as well as the technical and conceptual aspects of the tests,and critically discuss the values and positionings of the solfeggio grading examinations.It is proposed that while evaluating the knowledge and technical skills of the examinees,we should pay the necessary attention to the examination and cultivation of musicality,that is,to identifying and developing musical potential.It is necessary to continuously improve the test content and format,and refine the grading tasks and rubrics of the assessment,balancing quality,quantity and accuracy,covering self-study and career training,and addressing coaching and professional education,so as to inform and promote the comprehensive development of the examinees' musical ability.
