| Dunhuang Bianwen is the base of a group of singing stories and Buddhist sutra found in Dunhuang,and its very colloquialand religious language has become an important corpus for the study of Chinese history.Among them inherited and produced a wealth of idiom materials,the study of these idioms can let us on the Tang and Five Dynasties period of the general view of the language and cultural implications.This paper,taking Zhang Yongquan and Huang Zheng’s book Annotating notes to Dunhuang Bianwen as the material source,sorts out and analyzes the idioms quoted and originated in Dunhuang Bianwen.The first chapter introduces the general situation of Dunhuang Bianwen.Firstly,it defines the idioms.Secondly,it introduces the composition and subject content of Dunhuang Bianwen.Chapter two traces the origin of Dunhuang idioms,classifies the main sources of quoted idioms in Dunhuang Bianwen,and then illustrates the ways of citation.The third chapter will analyze the idioms from Dunhuang Bianwen and consider their formation and structure.The fourth chapter expounds the value of compiling dictionaries on the basis of the study of idioms in Dunhuang Bianwen.Through the discussion and exploration of the use and generation of idioms in Dunhuang Bianwen,it can be found that the use of idioms in DunhuangBianwen not only reflects the inheritance and development of previous idioms,but also reflects the development of language in Tang and Five Dynastis. |
