The Protect Management In Jiuquan's Intangible Heritage

In recent years,China has attached great importance to cultural heritage.With the joint efforts of the whole society,the preservation of intangible cultural heritage has made remarkable achievements.At present,with the development of economic globalization,the inheritance and preservation of China's intangible cultural heritage throws a dilemma of opportunities and challenges.Jiu Quan,a city in western Gansu,is an important joint of the ancient Silk Road with a long history and profound culture,which features abundant intangible cultural heritage.Studying the preservation and management of intangible cultural heritage in Jiu Quan can not only improve the intangible cultural heritage preservation,but also provide inspirations and references for other local cultural heritages.The author gathered substantial datum related to the study by reading text materials,making an on-the-spot interviews and questionnaires.The paper elaborates the unique geographical location and cultural resources of Jiu Quan,and analyzes the current status of intangible cultural heritage projects,inheritors and management in Jiu Quan.In recent years,Jiu Quan City attaches great importance to continuously strengthen the intangible cultural heritage.The local government creates a comprehensive directory system in national,provincial,municipal and county levels,and also organizes counties(cities and districts)under its jurisdiction to conduct the census of intangible cultural heritage resources and the project declaration.Lots of colorful,lively and intriguing activities,such as intangible cultural heritage exhibition,education popularization and external publicity,are engaged all the year round,which allow the masses to involve the traditional customs and enhance people's recognition to China's splendid traditional culture,and expand the influence of Jiu Quan culture.According to the investigation,the local government is the leading force of the preservation in intangible cultural heritage in Jiu Quan.The government invested huge manpower and material resources in census,identification and declaration,laws-making,policy propaganda,etc.,encouraging the involvement of community.This obtained good achievements,but there still exists many problems,such as the instability of the staff,short-term funding coverage,the limitation of intangible cultural heritages and their brand projects,which are mainly caused by imperfect mechanisms and limited participation of communities.The government can solve these problems through making reasonable plans and increasing capital investment.
