Film Copyright Value Evaluation Research

In recent years,the state's strong support for the cultural industry has promoted the vigorous development of the cultural industry.As an important part of the cultural industry and the economic growth point,the film industry's box office income has grown rapidly.With the continuous improvement of the film market and the phenomenon of film copyright transactions,the provision of reasonable value for film copyright transactions has become an urgent need in the film market.However,at present,there is no unified standard for the evaluation of film copyright value in China's asset appraisal industry.The relevant theoretical research on film copyright value evaluation is still not perfect and can not be adapted to the rapid development of the film industry.Therefore,this paper chooses the research topic of film copyright value evaluation,hoping to provide a new idea and method for the evaluation of film copyright value in China.Through the domestic and international literatures on the film industry chain,the movie box office income and the film copyright value evaluation,this paper analyzes the influencing factors and evaluation methods of film copyright value.This paper thinks that film copyright has a call option during the investment period,so the film will be filmed.The evaluation of copyright value is divided into two stages: investment period and income period.The real option method is used to evaluate the movie copyright value of the investment period,and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to modify the license fee saving method to evaluate the movie copyright value of the income period.After the film is released,the copyright benefit mainly depends on the movie box office income.Therefore,this article collects 79 domestic films released in 2013-2017 as sample data,and selects the movie network rating,investment amount,film screenings,director/actor,number of people watching and the film's release period is used as an explanatory variable.The multi-regression analysis is used to predict the box office income.The actual box office and forecast box office of 15 film works in 2018 are used to verify the rationality of the model,and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to calculate the correction coefficient to adjust the box office income.The results show that the movie screenings,that is,the cinema line,have the greatest impact on the movie box office revenue,and the film investment amount has the least impact,while the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method corrects the movie box office income closer to the actual value.Apply the evaluation model to the movie "Flying Life" to calculate the movie copyright value.I hope to improve the scientific nature of the evaluation results and provide a reasonable value reference for copyright development and trading activities.
