At the junior high school stage,students are in a critical period of physical and mental development rapidly.They must not only face rapid changes in physical and mental conditions,but also face increasingly complex and profound academic pressures.Increasing learning burden and frequent examinations make them lose their hopes and confidence for the future in the learning process,and they appear to be tired of learning to varying degrees,their academic engagement is low,so their academic achievements continue to decline.Future time perspective refers to the individual's perception of future time,which will affect the individual's current arrangement and use of time.The academic possible self may be obtained from the students' self-representation of past and current experiences.The current learning behavior is instructive.Academic engagement is a positive and complete state of emotional cognition related to learning.It is an individual's full energy and good psychological resilience during the learning process.Academic achievement refers to the academic knowledge and skills acquired by students after a period of study and training,and it is a manifestation of their learning situation.Therefore,Improving them academic achievement will make students more confident,develop a sound personality,promote good self-development,and have a promising future.Research purpose: Based on the existing literature,this research will integrate different perspective of future time and distance into the study of academic possible self of the school.At the same time,it will study the academic achievements of junior high school students in combination with academic engagement,and learn more comprehensively about students' learning situation.This study uses a questionnaire method to investigate some of the students in the third grade of two junior middle schools in Shijiazhuang using the future time perspective strength scale,academic possible self-scale,academic engagement questionnaire and academic achievement scale.It focuses on the relationship among junior high school students' future time perspective,academic possible self,academic engagement and academic achievement.Using SPSS and Mplus software to analyze the collected data,the following conclusions were obtained:1.The junior high school students' future time perspective,academic possible self,academic engagement and academic achievements have different degrees of difference in gender,whether they are only children,source,grade,family economic conditions and demographic variables.2.There is a significant positive correlation between junior high school students' future time perspective,academic possible self,academic engagement,and academic achievement.3.Future time perspective,academic possible self and academic engagement have predictive effects on academic achievement.4.Academic possible self and academic engagement may have intermediary effects in the relationship between future time perspective and academic achievement.
