A Study On The Interpretation Of Hand Verbs With Monosyllables In Dictionaries For Learning Chinese As A Foreign Language

In the study of various parts of speech in Chinese,the study of verbs is difficult,and it is also a considerable difficulty in the compilation of dictionaries for teaching Chinese as a foreign language and learning Chinese as a foreign language.In this paper,the selection and monosyllabic Chinese learners' daily life closely-held class hand verb as the research object,in " the Commercial Press Learner's Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese " and " the Contemporary Chinese Dictionary(7th Edition)" is a closed area,on the basis of previous studies,using comparative analysis method of combining qualitative and quantitative methods,based on the theory of lexical semantics verb phrase patterns and dictionaries interpretation theory guidance,from the two dictionaries of single-syllable has a class hand situation of vocabulary,meanings of the verbs and sorting and commentaries on the way of the establishment of question has carried on the detailed comparison and analysis.Thus,it is found that the Commercial Press Learner's Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese has the characteristics and shortcomings of the definition of monosyllabic verbs in hand verbs,and puts forward the revision Suggestions for the compilation of the dictionary of learning Chinese as a foreign language,which to some extent promotes the further improvement of the theory of learning dictionary.This paper consists of five parts.The first part is the introduction,which firstly introduces the origin and research significance of the topic,and mainly explains the theoretical and practical significance of the research for the paper.Secondly,it summarizes the scholarly research related to this paper,including the research on dictionary definition and verb definition.Finally,the research contents,ideas,and methods are systematically introduced.The second part is about the introduction of monosyllabic possessive hand verbs.Firstly,on the basis of the analysis of "tools" in modern Chinese scholars,the scope of single-syllable possessive hand verbs studied in this paper is defined.Then the semantic characteristics of these hand verbs are summarized according to the analysis method of "semantic component-pattern".The third part is about two dictionaries of monosyllabic hand verbs received words and the establishment and order of meanings.Firstly,by means of manual screening and data statistics,this paper makes quantitative comparison of the inclusion of these hand verbs in the two dictionaries.In the following part,the author makes a comparative study of the sensitivity setting and arrangement of these hands of verbs in two dictionaries.Finally,the paper summarizes the characteristics of this kind of hand verb in the Commercial Press Learner's Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese.The fourth part is about the comparative analysis of the interpretation of monosyllabic hand verbs in the two dictionaries.This part makes a comparative study from three aspects: the interpretation way,the meaning and the use case setting of these hand verbs in the two dictionaries.First of all,through sorting out,it is found that two dictionaries mainly define monosyllabic possessive hand verbs in the following ways: "descriptive","categorical" and "synonymous".The descriptive form is the most frequently used definition of these hands verbs in two dictionaries.In this regard,according to the description of the meaning of the interpretive way summarized by Mr.Fu Huaiqing to form a pattern diagram,and combined with the characteristics of this kind of hand verbs,the interpretive way is divided into five different types of descriptive description,and then a detailed comparative analysis of the two dictionaries is made.Secondly,in the interpretive content,the author uses the verb lexical analysis model to compare and analyze the expressions of this kind of hand verb in the two dictionaries.Finally,in the definition use case setting,this paper mainly analyzes the number of use cases and the types of use cases and finds that the Commercial Press Learner's Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese has a comprehensive feature in the use case setting of these hand verbs.Finally,the research contents of the three parts and the results of comparative analysis are briefly summarized.The fifth part is the revelation of compiling dictionary definitions for learning Chinese as a foreign language.This paper mainly summarizes the characteristics of monosyllabic hand verbs in the Commercial Press Learner's Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese,such as the innovation in the way of interpretation and the variety of use cases of interpretation,and puts forward corresponding suggestions for the revision of the omissions in the important meanings of these hand verbs and the inaccurate definition reflected in the dictionary.
