The readers of Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales include not only the children, but also the adults, who achieve different meanings at different ages. For the children, the content of fairy tales is pure and simple. The theme focuses on the genuine, the virtuous and the beauty. For the adults, the content displays deeper meaning. To meet both need of the children and the adults, Hans Christian Andersen take the proper narrative skills. This paper tends to study the narrative art from three points, including reliable narrator as indicate and unreliable narrator as explore at different views, the endless fabrication of himself and the existed real Andersen, the single voice and the profound meanings.First, it seems that Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales are reliable and as well unreliable. As considering children's values and ideas to be the same, Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales tends to be reliable. The norm of narrator is the same as of the implied author and the real author. The readers should include both the children and the adults. Because the children and the adults think differently while reading, the unreliable narration happens as the readers and text cycle. Meanwhile, so does it because of the usage of the multiple skills of narration.Second, Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales are mixed by fabricating of himself, which means the endless explanations, and the real Andersen, which is equal with the mirror of the existing. The usage of the fabrication can be limitless. At the same time, fairy tales are reflected by the shadow of the real Andersen. And there are a lot of his own explanations and analysis. Finally, the narrative voice of Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales is single. It owns two characteristics. One is being an out-of-story narrator, and the other is the combination of telling and showing. But it does not mean that they are simple to be understood. To be contrary, the thoughts of them are profound. It also embodies the copious culture.
