Language and culture are inseparable and closely related.We must learn culture while learning language.The culture mentioned here mainly refers to the part of culture involved in the verbal communication between foreigners and overseas Chinese when learning and understanding Chinese.In order to distinguish it from special cultural teaching,the academic circles generally call this part of culture “cultural factors”or refer to the cultural introduction in teaching.The primary stage is the starting point of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and it is also the key period for the introduction of “ cultural factors ”.Comprehensive classes are classes that can improve students' language learning in an all-round way.Therefore,it is necessary for foreign students in the primary stage to carry out certain cultural introduction in comprehensive classes.This paper is divided into five parts: The first part is the introduction,which mainly explains the research significance,research status and research methods used in this paper;The second part discusses the definition and classification of “culture”in teaching Chinese as a foreign language starting from the introduction of culture into the primarycomprehensive teaching materials of “Developing Chinese”.It also classifies and counts the cultural factors appearing in the two textbooks of“Developing Chinese Primary Comprehensive(I,II)” according to the four aspects of general category,major category,sub-category and cultural factors according to the classification of some scholars.The third part mainly investigates the current teaching situation of culture introduction in the primary comprehensive course of Chinese as a foreign language through questionnaires and interviews,and analyzes the feedback results of the questionnaire survey objects.The fourth part is based on the questionnaire survey and data collected by the author,combined with the statistical cultural factors in the two textbooks“ Developing Chinese Elementary Synthesis(?,?)”,to explain the teaching methods used in the process of cultural introduction.The fifth part is also the conclusion part of the article,which is mainly the summary of the full text and the enlightenment this paper brings to the author,and briefly expounds other research directions of introducing Chinese culture as a foreign language.Due to the lack of reasonable and effective guidance for the research on culture introduction teaching in the academic circle,and the fact that most of the papers now put forward suggestions for the arrangement of teaching materials or more general suggestions,there are few cases in which actual introduction methods are put forward in teaching.Throughsorting out and analyzing the distribution of cultural factors in the two textbooks“Developing Chinese Elementary Synthesis(?,?)”,and testing the cultural mastery of international students in the primary stage of Erlianhaote International College,this paper gives the author a certain understanding of the current situation of cultural introduction and finds out some problems existing in the actual introduction process of teachers,which also makes the author realize the urgency of cultural introduction in the primary stage.Therefore,on the basis of these investigations,the author puts forward several specific measures for cultural introduction in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,hoping to make some contribution to the teaching of cultural introduction in Chinese as a foreign language.
