Study Of The PianHai(Chapters 12 To 15) Revised In Chong Zhen Years

Si Sheng Pian Hai is a large-scale regular script dictionary compiled by Han Xiaoyan and Han Daozhao on the basis of Lei Yu Pian Hai by Wang Tai in the Jin Dynasty.The compilation style of Si Sheng Pian Hai is innovative and the collection of characters is numerous,which plays an important role in the history of dictionaries.Pian Hai has been handed down for a long time and has many editions,mainly divided into Jin and yuan Dynast's version and Ming Dynast's version,the most common version of Pian Hai is Ming Dynast's version.Chongzhen was the last version of the Pian Hai,and the one chosen for the Grand Chinese Dictionary(Second Edition).It is the longest time away from the Mother edition,coupled with the Ming dynasty block-printing a number of shortcomings,the content of many errors.This paper takes the version of Chongzhen(chapters 12 to 15)as the research object,and uses phonology,exegetics,emendation and other theories as the guidance,referring to YuPian,LongKan,GuangYun,JiYun and other handed down books,it is compared with Jin and Yuan Dynast's version and Ming Dynast's version(Chenghua version,Zhengde version,Wanli version).First,the paper compares the version of Chongzhen(chapters 12 to 15)with its previous other editions and finds that there are great differences in the Chinese characters,phonetic notation and interpretation.In the aspect of Chinese characters,there are four aspects:the increase and decrease of the Chinese characters,the arrangement of the Chinese characters,and the shape of the Chinese characters,and the citations to which Chinese characters belong.The phonetic notation is mainly reflected in the different phonetic items,the use of characters and the way of phonetic transcription.The interpretation is mainly reflected in the number of items and the difference of definitions.The version of Chongzhen has not been revised systematically,but it preserves the edition achievements of Jin and yuan Dynast's version and Ming Dynast's version,the paper analyzes the reasons for the differences are from the aspects of engravement and compilation.Through the comparison of various editions,one is conducive to collation of the version of Chongzhen.Second,we can point out errors of items that are reflected in the Chinese characters,phonetic notation,interpretation and quoted books from Pian Hai(chapters 12 to 15)cited by the Grand Chinese Dictionary(Second Edition),and provide some new evidences for reference to the correct textual interpretation inthe academic circles,and give some suggestions for the revision of the Grand Chinese Dictionary,with a view to improving the quality of later generations of Chinese dictionaries.
