The Study On The Regional Change Of Chahar Bordered Yellow Banner From The Middle Qing Dynasty To The 23rd Year Of The Republic Of China

After the Chahar rebellion was suppressed by the Qing dynasty,the Chahar eight banners,which were compiled as the general banner,were stationed outside Xuanhua and Datong.And Chahar Bordered Yellow banner,which was in the same central position With Chahar Plain Yellow Banner was located outside Zhangjiakou.During the Yongzheng period,the Qing government established prefectural departments to manage the Han immigrants,among them,the prefectural department of Zhangjiakou was in charge of the civil affairs of Bordered Yellow banner and half of the Plain Yellow Banner,So there was an urgent need for the division of Bordered Yellow banner boundary.From the late Qing dynasty to the early republic of China,Compared with that in the middle of Qing Dynasty,the rangeland of Chahar Bordered Yellow banner gradually contracted to the north because of the acceleration of land reclamation and governance in Mongolia,and was replaced by seven counties and mongols bureau such as Kangbao,Zhangbei,Baochang,Shangdu,Shangyi,Huade and Chongli,this process was the epitome of the whole land reclamation of Chahar's eight banners,of which the regions involved today's Hebei province and Inner Mongolia autonomous regions,as well as zhangjiakou city,Ulanqab city and Xilingol league,which were of typical significance in the eight banners of Chahar.The main body of this paper consists of three chapters.The first chapter analyzes the management and grazing ground scope of Chahar department,the territories of Bordered Yellow Banner and it's prairies in early Qing Dynasty,and at the end of the chapter,here is <the sketch of Bordered Yellow Banner's prairie and Chahar Bordered Yellow Banner scope in the middle of Qing Dynasty>.The second chapter mainly expounds the reasons,process and influence of reclamation of Chahar Bordered Yellow banner in the late Qing Dynasty.The third chapter discusses the domestic and international situation,the continuation of reclamation policy,the process of land reclamation and governance,and the changes caused by these problems in Chahar area in the early years of the republic of China.And the author drew< the schematic diagram of Bordered Yellow Banner's prairie and the interior area of Bordered Yellow banner before Chahar was set up as a province in 1928> and < the schematic diagram of primary Bordered Yellow banner's prairie and the interior area of Bordered banner after Chahar added three immigration agencies in 1934> at the end of the chapter.The above three maps respectively reflect the changes of political areas in the same region in different time periods,which makes the process of regional changes clearer.
