| The present thesis foxes on the origin of Mongolian surnames in Plain and Bordered White Banner(Siluyun kobegetii cayan qosiyu),awareness of surnames,meaning,structure and frequency of given names and cultural elements of names are analyzed and studies in the paper.The paper consists of five part as follows:introduction,first part,second part,conclusion and references.In introduction part the reason and significance of the study of surnames and given names in Plain and Bordered White Banner is introduced and previous study and relevant materials,research methods and uniqueness of the study is explained in this part.First part includes the statistics about surnames,awareness of surname of Mongolian in Plain and Bordered White Banner.Second part includes the study of Mongolian given names from linguistic and cultural perspective,classification of meanings of names,origin and tradition,nicknames,name-changing tradition and taboos about names.Conclusion part includes the general summary and conclusion about the whole research. |
