A Study Of Questions In "Gan" Dialect Of "DongKou"

Dong Kou Gan dialect is a sub-dialect of Gan dialect,which is mainly circulated in Dong Kou.This paper takes the interrogative sentences of Dong Kou Gan dialect as the object of investigation,which research and analysis the special phenomena in interrogative sentences on the basis of fieldwork.The thesis makes a detailed description of the interrogative sentence from the aspects of interrogative function,semantic connotation and syntactic structure.It also uses the method of comparison in order to perfectly revel the features of interrogative sentences of Dong Kou Gan dialect.The full text focuses on the characteristics of Dong Kou Gan dialect's interrogative sentences,for the analysis of the WH-question,it mainly analyzes the origin of interrogative pronoun and its non-interrogative usage in Dong Kou Gan dialect from the diachronic and synchronic perspectives.For the analysis of the positive and negative questions,it focus on analyze two types of positive and negative questions: "Vp-Mao-Vp" and "Vp-Mo" in terms of semantics and explores the historical development of these two types,in addition to,this parts contains geographical distribution and usage of the two formats of "Vp-Neg-V" and "V-Neg-Vo" from the linguistics of typology.For the analysis of the yes-no question sentences,it not only describe the three types of yes-no-question sentences in Dong Kou Gan dialect,namely the intonation yes-no-question sentences?the modal yes-no-question sentences and the special yes-no question sentences,but also divides its interrogativefunction and find the causes of the vacancy of neutral yes-no questions.For the analysis of alternative questions,this paper describes sentence patterns frequently,and the historical origin of its special "A,A" type of alternative questions.Lastly,it compares to the similarities and differences between Dong Kou Gan dialect and Dong Kou Xiang dialect and Jiang Xi Feng Cheng Gan dialect,and summarizes the characteristics of interrogative sentences in Dong Kou Gan dialect and puts forward some suggestions on dialect.Generally,this paper hopes to reflect the characteristics of interrogative sentences in Dong Kou Gan dialect objectively and provide some reliable and detailed dialect resources in Gan dialect and surrounding dialects.
