Feminism In Urban Women's TV Dramas Presents Dilemma And Realistic Reflections

In recent years,with the rise of women's consciousness,more and more urban female TV plays focusing on women's living conditions and telling women's life stories have appeared in large numbers,which attracted a large number of female audiences,set off a viewing boom,and also caused controversy.So,how is feminism expressed and disseminated in TV plays? Has the theoretical connotation of feminism been accurately conveyed in TV plays? How do audiences understand this?With these purposes,this paper first makes a simple comb of the feminist changes of female TV dramas in urban workplace in recent years.Secondly,through the case "Beijing Women's Tujian" to carry out specific analysis;finally,from the four aspects of women's appearance,professional status,gender relations,family status,combined with questionnaires,in-depth interviews,content analysis,a detailed interpretation of the feminist presentations in the reality of the major female drama.Through questionnaires and text analysis,feminism in female TV plays in urban workplace is interpreted,and it is found that the female appearance in the plays is still the traditional female under the male-dominated aesthetics;from the perspective of career,the scope of career choice of women in the plays is fixed in a narrow range,without breaking away from the traditional career setting of women;from the perspective of gender relations,the gender relations in the plays are still present.It is the relationship between salvation and salvation,and women are still in a weak position.From the perspective of family status,the women in the play still lack the right to speak in the family and still belong to the traditional image of "guardian".Finally,in view of the current predicament of feminism in female TV dramas in urban workplace,the author puts forward suggestions from the following four aspects:enhancing the gender consciousness of the creators,digging deep into the connotation of feminism in content,promoting the awakening of female consciousness of the audience,and encouraging feminist media criticism.I hope to reveal the predicament of Feminism and make suggestions on it in order to guide the solution of practicalproblems in reality.
