| Taozhou garrison in the Ming Dynasty`s population geography is taken as the research object,and discusses the evolution of the populations structure,the relevant population coefficient of different tribes,the size and distribution of different household registration population as well as the immigrant population of Taozhou garrison in the Ming Dynasty.The article study some natural geography relate to the regional environment the geographical relationship areas,natural disasters and environment protection issues,And the turning point of the population change of the Ming Dynasty`s Taozhou garrison,the number of the population of Taozhou garrison and the early Ming`s initial immigration methods and spatial distribution issues in human geography area.Taking traditional philology as the main method,combined with the research methods of human geography,and drawing on the research methods of sociology,ethnology and religion,we can analyze the population size and evolution of Taozhou garrison`s relevant population coefficient of different tribes,spatial distribution and density of population,and the distribution of immigrant population as comprehensive as possible.The study believes that the population size change of Taozhou garrison in the Ming Dynasty is divided into three stages.In the first stage,from the early Ming Dynasty to the first years of Xuande(1369-1431),at the beginning of Taozhou garrison,the population reached the lowest point.After that,the population peaked in the first years of Xuande.The second stage,Xuande seven years to the first years of Chongzhen(1431-1638).The population at this stage is basically the same.The third stage,Chongzhen eleven year to the last years of Ming Dynasty(1638-1644).The war has caused the accumulation of vitality in the middle and late period of Ming`s Taozhou garrison,and the population has dropped sharply.The number of thieves,fugitives and insurgent thieves has increased,and the reduction in household registration has been more serious.According to the natural and humanistic environment of Taozhou garrison,the average household size of the Han nationality in this area is about 4,and the average household size of the Hui nationality is basically the same as the Han`s.The average household population of Tibetan and Mongolian households is about 3,and the household structure of military family is generally the core family,which is 3 peopleper household.Using these data,it can be estimated that there were roughly 90,000 people in the stable period of the population during the Ming Dynasty.Among them,the military population was about 20,000,the Han Dynasty population was about50,000,and the minority population of Tibet and Mongolia was about 20,000.In addition,the number of no household registration should also be discussed.Among these populations,the religious population of the area is basically the same as the population of ordinary people in the area.According to ethnic distribution and population density distribution,there are a large number of immigrants in the urban area of Taozhou garrison.The West road is also accepted by a large number of immigrants.This area is not only got the ethnic minority population controlled by the original tyrant of tribes,but also a large number of Han population.Although it is impossible to judge the existence of other ethnic minorities inside the urban and the West Road area,but the situation of Han and ethnic minorities must had existed.The immigrant population in the Ming Dynasty had a direct impact on the population distribution of the Taozhou area,as well as the Ming government`s management to it. |
