In modern Chinese,"not A,but B" is a common sentence pattern,but some major findings are as follows based on literature review.1.The academic community has disputes over the grammatical relationship of "not A,but B" and the ontological knowledge of this sentence pattern is relatively theoretical,which is not suitable for direct use in teaching Chinese as a second language.2.On the teaching of Chinese as a second language,no research papers is dedicated to the error analysis of "not A,but B".3.From the compilation of the sentence pattern of "not A,but B" in Chinese textbooks,the explanation of the sentence pattern in textbooks is relatively simple and not comprehensive,and there are different interpretations of it among textbooks.Based on the above problems,this paper takes the sentence pattern of "not A,but B" as the research object,and adopts four research methods including literature research,error analysis,corpus research and interview to carry out error analysis on the acquisition of sentence pattern of "not A,but B".Based on the modern Chinese corpus of Peking University and previous studies,the paper finds the following features of the sentence pattern "not A,but B" in the perspective of syntax structure,semantic relations and pragmatic features.A and B in the "Not A,but B" sentence structure have a high consistency in syntactic composition,and they can be morpheme + morpheme,word + word,phrase + phrase or word + phrase,whose part of speech can be a noun,a verb,a adjective,a quantifier,a pronouns,etc.From the perspective of the semantic relationship between "A" and "B",it can be corrected refutation,interpretation,transition,progression;from a pragmatic perspective,its semantic relationship is semantic negation,and the sentence whose semantic relationship is "progression" is pragmatic negation,and the sentence pattern has anti-expectancy and subjectivity.Then based on the HSK dynamic composition corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University,the paper make further statistics of the acquisition of "not A,but B" sentence patterns of international students.According to the theory of error analysis,the types of errors made by international students are divided into omission errors,misuse errors,addition errors,disordering errors,and multiple errors,of which omission errors,misuse errors and addition errors are carefully classified.Next,the author has made a specific analysis of the errors of international students,and analyzed the reasons of the errors from the Chinese complexity,learning strategies and learning environment.In order to investigate the status quo of "not A,but B" teaching,the author conducted an in-depth interview with in-service Chinese teachers.Finally,on the basis of the research,some teaching suggestions are put forward with the purpose of providing guidance in teaching Chinese as a second language.
