| The first piece of the inscription most overlaps with Zuoyouming座右铭(Motto),written by Yan Zun严遵,a diviner in Westren Han dynasty. In the first chapter we proofread it,finding that it is similar with Laozizhigui老子指归,written by Yan Zun,both in choosing words to make a sentence and in writing style.Daodezhenjingjiyi道德真经集义,written by Liu Weiyong刘惟永,a Taoist in Yuan dynasty, cited some chapters from Zhao Shi’an赵实庵’s commentary on Tao Te Ching.Among this chapters Zhao Shi’an cited one sentence of Yan Zun,but this sentence almost overlaps with one sentence from this piece of the inscription. Some sentences in this piece of the inscription overlap with some of Yunjiqiqian云笈七签and Miaozhenjing妙真经.We deduce that this piece of the inscripition is an excerpt from Yan Zun‘s Laozizhigui, and Zuoyouming is also an excerpt from Yan Zun‘s Laozizhigui. Some sentences from the second piece of the inscription overlap some sentences from Fuzi傅子,Koujie口诫,Kouming口铭and Nijinrenmingzuokouming拟《金人铭》作口铭,and these books or articles are all written by Fu Xuan傅玄,a writer in Western Jin dynasty. This piece of the inscription is the original text of Nijinrenmingzuokouming. There is some overlap between the third piece of the inscription and some sentences from Hanshiwaizhaun韩诗外传and Shuoyuan说苑.In the third chapter we collate and annotate this piece of the inscription. |
