As a special period in Yunnan history,Nanzhao and Dali period developed very rapidly,which is closely related to Nanzhao and Dali monks who are good at absorbing Central Plains culture and Indian culture,and combine with native culture.In the process of spreading of Buddhism,Different cultural background,different sects of monks introduced the Central Plains culture and Indian culture into Yunnan,and push Chinese and Indian culture in Yunnan was completed,promoted the development of Nanzhao and Dali culture to multi-compound culture,influenced the later cultural development in Yunnan,and has played a certain role in shaping the national character of Yunnan.This article through the analysis of the cultural background of Nanzhao Dali kingdom period monks and aesthetic characteristics,combing of Nanzhao Dali kingdom monk's religious activities,cultural activities,political activities and social activities,from which to explore the Nanzhao Dali kingdom monk is how the central plains culture,Indian culture in Yunnan,and further combined with local culture in Yunnan,finally promote the Nanzhao Dali kingdom culture colorful and unique,and for the further development of Yunnan culture laid a solid foundation.
