Research On Dunhuang Poetry Cultural Words

Language is a symbol of culture and a carrier of culture.Any kind of culture contains people's understanding of a certain nation.Cultural words,as lexical symbols that can mark culture in the language system,show the characteristics of a nation.Dunhuang Poetry are vocals that can be matched with music in Dunhuang's posthumous writings.They are mainly composed of three parts: song words,Buddhist songs,and folk songs,with a total of more than 1,200 songs.Its chanting is rich in content,the lyric contains the culture of the Tang and Five Dynasties,and a large number of cultural words are generated.Most of the lyrics were made by the people at the bottom,the author's cultural level is limited,and the oral language style between lyricism and reasoning basically reflects the real language style at that time,and is a precious corpus of vocabulary research in the Tang and Five Dynasties.This article examines the 571 cultural words appearing in Dunhuang Poetry.Through a more detailed compilation,classification,interpretation and summary,it is intended to reveal the overall appearance,language characteristics and cultural connotation of Dunhuang Poetry cultural words.This thesis consists of the following sections:Introduction.Firstly,it indicates the reason for choos ing the topic of the thesis,secondly clarifies the value of Dunhuang Poetry and diction cultural words research and the choice of the corpus of the dissertation,combs the research status of Dunhuang Poetry and diction,then puts forward the research ideas and research methods,and finally summarizes the key points and difficulties of the paper.The first chapter is the definition and classification of Dunhuang Poetry cultural words.Firstly,Dunhuang Poetry cultural words are defined as: words with a spec ific cultural connotation or a cultural mark in Chinese.Then taking Mr.Su Xinchun's viewpoint as a reference,the 571 Dunhuang Poetry cultural words are divided into three categories according to content: material cultural words,institutional cultural words,and spiritual cultural words.In addition,these cultural words are classified by syl able,nature,and grammatical structure.The second and fourth chapters examine the cultural words of Dunhuang Poetry in detail.The second chapter is the material cultural words in Dunhuang Poetry.The 244 material cultural words can be divided into six categories,namely architecture,food,clothing,appliances,physical appearance,and color.Among them,there are two special species of cultural words of aristocracy and poor people in 44 architectural cultural words;vocabulary related to wine,meat,rice and noodles in 6 cultural words of food;19 clothing culture Two special species of cultural words of women and men's clothing appear in the words;five special species of cultural words of gold,silver,bronze,jade material and extraterrestrial appliances appear in 137 cultural words of instruments;25 cultural words of appearance There are two kinds of special cultural words: women's makeup and human body.The third chapter is the institutional cultural words in Dunhuang Poetry.114 institutional cultural words can be divided into four categories,that is,social system,kinship,customs and special titles.Among them,there are two special species of cultural words of ancient official and timing in 60 cultural words of social system;two kinds of special species of cultural words of dialect and age in 11 customary cultural words;Two special appellations of cultural words appear as two types of special species of cultural words: men and women.The fourth chapter is the spiritual and cultural words in Dunhuang Poetry.The 213 spiritual and cultural words can be divided into two categories,that is,thought and religion.Among the 30 ideological cultural words,there are two types of special cultural words of ethnic minorities and parting thoughts.Among the 183 religious cultural words,there are numbers and nouns of Buddhist vocabulary and two special species of cultural words: Buddhist names and ghosts.The thesis analyzes and examines the special species of cultural words appearing in the three major types of cultural words,and verifies them.Through the classification and description of the three chapters,it shows the overall appearance of the cultural words of Dunhuang Poetry and diction,which is the main body of this paper.The fifth chapter is the analysis of the meaning of Dunhuang Poetry cultural words.The meanings of Dunhuang Poetry culture words can be divided into two aspects:rational meaning and color meaning.Color meaning also includes emotional color,image color and stylistic color.The development and evolution of word meaning mainly include:three forms of meaning expansion,meaning reduction and meaning transfer.For example,in Dunhuang Poetry cultural words,"man"is reduced from the meaning of"man","son"and"knighthood"to retain only the original meaning;From the meaning of the table"clothing"/lianjin(??)to the table"mutual or collective name of sister husband".The composition,development,and evolution of the cultural meanings of Dunhuang Poetry cultural words all appear in the form of clusters.The clusters of these words can be used to explore the thinking and cultural psychology of the Tang and Five Dynasties.The sixth chapter is the characteristics of Dunhuang Poetry cultural words.Its manifestations are: religious and cultural words appear in synonymous,synonymous,abbreviated combinations of three kinds of word meanings;cultural words generally show famous physical properties;and stability and variability,which The extinction of Dunhuang Poetry cultural words in modern Chinese.The seventh chapter is about the related issues of Dunhuang Poetry cultural words.This chapter is divided into two parts.The first is to select some vocabulary describing women from the cultural words of Dunhuang Poetry,such as"beauty"/Jiao'e(??),"struggle"/douzheng(??)and"pregnancy/huaiyun(??)",to further explore the changes of women's status in the Tang and Five Dynasties.The second is to supplement the"Chinese Dictionary":2 interpretations of supplementary words,9establishments of supplementary entries,and 6 lags in supplementary documentary evidence.For example,the word"pregnancy/huaiyun(??)"was not collected in"Chinese Dictionary";in"Chinese Dictionary",the Qing Dynasty"Liao Zhai Zhi Yi?Xiao Cui"was taken as an example in the"Weng Gu"(??).The eighth chapter is the conclusion.Summarize the
