Research On Sign System Design In The Design Of Public Space Culture Environment

In the new era,our country attaches great importance to strengthening the construction of spiritual civilization and constructing a perfect cultural services.With the constant improvement of the material standard of living,people's requirements for spiritual culture has also reached a new and high level.Based on the background,the public cultural space,as an important position of China's cultural communication,gives full play to its cultural function,provides people with diversified cultural services and undertakes important responsibilities and obligations of promoting powerful cultural country.As an essential facility of public cultural space,the sign system has the functions of guidance,explanation,instruction and so on,provides people with service information,place locator,behavior prompt,security assurance and other services.It is not only a part of public cultural space,but also plays a role in building the cultural city card.At present,the design of the sign system in China is still in the primary stage,and the application design of the sign system focuses on functionality.Therefore,it is of practical significance to study the design of the sign system in the design of public cultural space environment.The sign system of the public cultural space is not a dependant or an independent part of the environmental space,but should be integrated with the overall space environment.The main purpose of the sign system is to provide information needs and service to the audience in a proper location and concise way,so as to improve the activity efficiency,shape the architectural environment style,enhance the cultural image of the audience's comfortable experience degree within the space,and further improve the culture characteristics of the city.This paper adopts the method of integrating theory with practice.The research is carried out through literature retrieval and reading,multidisciplinary comprehensive analysis,field work and case study,and design practice,etc.Firstly,the research background,significance,content,methods,related concepts and development of dynamics at home and abroad of public cultural space sign system are analyzed and discussed;second this thesis makes a complete illuminationand aconcrete analysis of the classification and basic features of the public cultural space sign system.And through the field study of the public cultural space,the author makes an in-depth analysis of its sign system and summarizes its common problems;Finally,bydesigning the sign system of Hunan library,the method of combining theory with practice should prove the theories mentioned above.
