Overseas Chinese education is different from both domestic Chinese teaching and pure second language teaching.It has its own characteristics.Similarly,the overseas Chinese textbooks are different from both the Chinese textbooks used in primary and middle schools in China and the second language textbooks used for learners with no foundation in foreign language.At present,there is a lot of research on overseas Chinese textbooks,but there is little research on macroscopic examination of Chinese textbooks.In this paper,from the perspective of macro research combined with micro research,11 sets of representative of the overseas Chinese teaching materials was investigated.Through the methods of comparative analysis,example analysis and the holistic approach,to point out the problems may existing in existing Chinese textbooks,Such as theme setting,grammar setting,reference standards and other issues,and on the basis of these problems,we trying to put forward some Suggestions to solve it.The study on the characteristics of overseas Chinese acquirers helps to build more targeted overseas Chinese textbooks.Therefore,this paper also discusses the acquisition characteristics of heritage language acquirer,and acquisition characteristics of heritage language acquirer in mandarin background,and acquisition characteristics of heritage language acquirer in dialect background,and acquisition characteristics of heritage language acquirer in second language background.This paper combines the study of Chinese textbooks and the study of the characteristics of heritage language acquisition,and puts forward some tentative suggestions on the construction of overseas Chinese textbooks.
