When the literary with the theme of educated urban youth reached an undulant development process in the 1980 s,most of the authors are educated urban youths in around thirty years old.In the beginning of the new century,educated youth writers were stepping toward aging,and their next generation had been on their own careers.These author started to focus on generations experience in real life,which were reflected in their writings at that moment.Writing with the theme of "interaction between generations" throughout multiple views and dialogues across generations became a suitable literary narration mode for reconstructing educated urban youth's memory,and re-recognizing historical and life experiences of educated urban youth.The connotation of theme of educated urban youth expanded within the increasing of writing subject diversity and the enlarging of space and time of writing.The establishment of interaction between generations highly rely on the research methods based on the generation theory and cultural application.It aims to focus on the "interaction between generations" between educated urban youths,even between educated urban youths and their generations under authors' writing in different generations in the new century novels with the theme of educated urban youth: one category is the cooperation of life and historical experiences,another is the conversation between various characters with different generation.We majorly focus on 1950s-born educated urban youth authors Guo Xiaodong,Ye Xin and Han Shaogong in,and non-educated urban youth authors that were born in 1960s-1980 s such as Han Dong,Li Hao,Qiao Ye,Ayi,Geliang,and Zhang Yueran for improving the diversity of the gradation of "interaction between generations".For discussing the characteristics,crevice and value of "interaction between generations",four chapters were raised.In chapter one,the literatures of educated urban youth writers Guo Xiaodong("Darkness Dancing"),Ye Xin("Passing Pavilion")and Han Shaogong("The Book of Day and Night")have been explored,revealing their two types of biases as "Ideal" and "Broken" during "interaction between generations" writings.In chapter two,the "Change of Educated Youths" by Han Dong,"Rusting Hoe" by Qiao Ye,and "The Cocoon" by Zhang Yueran were analyzed on the respects of observe from the sidelines,bringing in,and pursuing,we explored the intra-generations differences of non-educated urban youth writers and the different strategies for educated youth conversation.In chapter three,the crevices displayed in "interaction between generations" of educated urban youth's memory mentioned in first two chapters were firstly integrated,then the research findings of sociological and cultural fields were used to compare between the literary creation and reality,and discussed the transformability in practice.In chapter four,value of "interaction between generations" in literatures of educated urban youth themes was recognized through the view of the "generation writing" significance on reconstruction of collective memory for educated urban youth,then,future pattern for this type of writing that is over the history and generation was indicated according to the historical writing of world and Chinese literatures."Interaction between generations" reconstructs the memory of educated urban youth,and it also reflects the separated recognitions from different generations.It represents the future growth points for writing with theme of educated urban youth.
