Presence And Absence:The Study On The Creation Of Scene Seires

With the development of science and technology,way of communication and reliance between people are becoming less and less important,but we all live in the reality,that is,people exist in society,and society is full of relationships between people.Society should be warm,full of humanity,rather than mechanical and cold.In this background,many artists,being participants themselves,have witnessed the fast development of the times,and are inevitably surrounded by these contradictions.The change of social life and the absurd relationship between people in this atmosphere have become the theme given priority to by contemporary artists in the form of "problem" or "consciousness of crisis".The creation of "Scene" series is an attempt to explore the theme with the symbol of mobile phone.They are composed of two sites,one is closed--the absurd contradictory state of people in a public transport,and the other is open--the indifferent attitude of people to an emergency on the road.These two dramatic effects are truly expressed in the form of realistic painting,thus provoking the reflection on the present situation and gaining empathy of the viewer.It is artists' social responsibility to arouse people's awareness of re-recognizing the relationship between self and society.
