With the development of vocal art,German and Austrian art songs have attracted more and more attention in vocal teaching, but I have found that many singers ignore the language specifications of songs and lack reasonable breathing arrangements. This article will use the two artistic songs “Singing on the Water”and “Who is Sylvia” as examples to study the use of bite and breath in the singing of Schubert’s art songs. The problems and wrong breathing conditions are summarized, classified and the correct solutions are put forward,so that more vocal enthusiasts can easily understand and use them when singing.
