Research On The Elementary School English Vocabulary Instruction Strategies Based On Interactive Learning Environment

The English curriculum standard for compulsory education issued in the year 2011 indicates that the instruction of English lays the foundation for the cultivation of innovators and international communication talents.Vocabulary is the basis of all the activities of language.It has the basic position in English learning.In this study,however,through the literature review and the observation of English class in elementary school,it is found that elementary school students have the problems of inaccurate pronunciation of words,poor competence on memorizing words,relatively low efficiency on getting the words' meanings,unskillful application of words,low interest in vocabulary learning and teachers' improper use of digital environment and resources.According to multimedia learning theory and relative lexical learning theory,multiple elementary school English vocabulary instruction strategies are put forward and implemented in this research based on interactive learning environment.The result of data analysis shows that the elementary school English vocabulary instruction strategies in this research has significant effects on solving the problems of inaccurate pronunciation,low performance on word memorizing,and inaccuracy on word meaning in elementary school English vocabulary instruction.The reasons for the low interest in English vocabulary learning in elementary schools are analyzed meanwhile,some suggestions are given for the improvement of instruction strategies.The results of this research can enrich the theory of English language instruction in digital environment and provide elementary school teachers with strategies for the English vocabulary instruction so as to further improve the transformation of English vocabulary instruction and learning mode.
