The aim of the cultural policy is to create a cultural value,to acquire,own and transfer cultural values,to protect cultural heritage,to spread traditional culture to the world,to create culture in the development of the country and to create a culture of value;To increase the participation of citizens,families and organizations in cultural activities and to extend human knowledge and cultural traditions throughout the life of Mongolian citizens from childhood to adulthood.The study of Mongolia's traditional culture protection policy is helpful to perfect the relevant theories which enrich the traditional culture protection policy.There are few studies on the policy of protecting Mongolia's traditional culture,but the protection and development of Mongolia's traditional culture need some policy and theoretical guidance.In this paper,the historical research method and the literature research method are used to sort out the development course of Mongolia's traditional cultural policy.The cultural protection policy of this country experienced the embryonic period(1911-1990): the Cultural Protection Policy grew externally;Formative period(1990-2010): Cultural Policies and ways change according to social needs;development period(2010): Cultural Policies both protect and spread.At present,Mongolia is actively taking measures to strengthen the protection of traditional culture,but there are still some problems,that is,low attention,low participation of the people,insufficient investment and insufficient publicity.In view of the related problems in the protection policy of traditional culture,the author makes an investigation in Mongolia and puts forward the corresponding optimization strategies by drawing lessons from other countries.
