The Survey Of Dialects Of Panzhihua City, Sichuan

Panzhihua City is located at the junction of today's Sichuan Province and Yunnan Province,bordering Huili,Dechang and Yanyuan counties of Liangshan Yi Autonomous Region in Sichuan Province in the east and north,Ninglang and Huaping and Yongren counties in Yunnan Province in the west and south,which are weak links in dialect inves-tigation in southwest Sichuan Province.Through field investigation,this paper records and summarizes the dialect pronunciation of the east,west and renhe districts of Panzhihua city,and summarizes their dialect phonology.meanwhile,it compares it horizontally with the dialects of the neighboring areas,Chengdu dialect(represented by Chengdu dialect),guikun dialect(represented by Kunming dialect)and mandarin.in the vertical direction,it relies on the achievements of historical comparative linguistics to compare it with qieyun system.By finding the similarities and differences in their phonological structures,this paper reveals the law of interaction between Panzhihua dialect,its neighboring dialects and Putonghua at the synchronic level,and the inheritance and development of the phonological structure system of Panzhihua dialect to the medieval phonology at the diachronic level.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly summarizes the current research situation of Panzhihua dialect,and discusses the research purpose and significance of Panzhihua dialect in the background of the current research situation of southwest mandarin,introduces the geographical situation of Panzhihua city,and explains the research method in detail.The second part is the latest survey of the phonological situation of Panzhihua's eastern district(represented by yinjiang town),western district(represented by geliping town),renhe district(represented by wuben township and zhongba township)at four o'clock,as well as the description of its rhyme and tone.The third part compares the similarities and differences of the phonetic systems between the four dialect points in Panzhihua's inner three districts and with the dialects of other areas in Liangshan,including "Chengdu dialect","Kunming dialect" and "Putonghua".In order to explore the historical development of its phonetic system,it is vertically compared with the phonetic systems described in the Middle Ages,.The fourth part explores the relationship between the current situation of Panzhihua dialect and its immigration history based on the immigration history of Panzhihua area and the results of this dialect survey.The fifth part is the conclusion.
