The Research Of Dialect Of Yongchuan And Other 5 Counties In Chongqing

Since the national dialect survey in 1960,the Chongqing dialect survey has mainly focused on the few single dialect points in the urban area of Chongqing and its vicinity,lack of historical comparative analysis and research.In view of this,we conducted a regional field survey and study on the dialect pronunciation of six districts and counties in the central and western part of Chongqing.First of all,recording dialect pronunciation according to the dialect survey word table by using modern technology.Second,analyzing the phonology of six dialects on the basis of the recording,such as Jiangbei,Jiangjin,Qijiang,Yongchuan,Banan and Wansheng,etc.Third,taking"Guangyun"(??)allophones of middle Chinese phonology and the comparison of ancient and modern phonology as reference,analyzing the phonological features of six dialect points in the region,namely making diachronic comparison among these dialects.Finally,comparing the phonetic features above with the main Sichuan dialects,"Nanlu dialect"(???)and"Huguang dialect"(???),which is the horizontal comparison of dialects.Through the above work,we've found the regional dialects have some of the following regular phonetic features:the word of ancient ni(??)and lai(??)sound l before one and two deng(?)while ni sound (?) and lai sound l before three and four deng at Jiangjin and Qijiang;final of some word from guo(?),shan(?),dang(?),jiang(?),tong(?)jian system(??)sound?at Qijiang,which similar to Sichuan underlying dialect“Nanlu dialect”;there are some palatalization initials of zhi group(??)and zhang group(??)from shen(?),zhen(?),zeng(?),geng(?)sound t?-/t?h-/?-at Jiangjin;some ru(??)word of ni group(??)three and four deng(?)intermingled with ying(?),yun(?),yi(?)both sound zero initial at Banan;shu(??)word of xiao(?),xia(?)from xie(?),zhi(?),shan(?),zhen(?),dang(?)sound kai(?)or he(?),some initial of fei group(??)three and four deng he(??)from zhi(?),xian(?),shan(?),tong(?)sound x at Yongchuan,ect.This paper is divided into four parts.First part is the introduction,which describes the geographical locations and administrative divisions,the use of text symbols and the information of the speakers.Second part is the specific explanation and description of the phonology of the six districts and counties in Chongqing.Third part is to compare the phonetic features of the six Chongqing dialects with the phonetic features of "Nanlu dialect" and "Huguang dialect".Last part is the conclusion.
