In recent years, the number of Mongolian students who come to China for learning Chinese is growing. However, the study of teaching Chinese to Mongolian students is backward developed. During teaching process, how make the students absorb the language knowledge quickly and effectively, and utilize it in life, are the problems that each teacher faces. Due to its own characteristics, the introduction of Chinese learning is difficult, and to master very well is more difficult. Thus once the Mongolian students encounter the difficulties, they will feel resistance and fear learning so that they don't continue. The reasons of causing these problems have a direct relationship with our teaching method. Therefore,the correct teaching method, appropriate language environment and relaxed teaching atmosphere have become a trend of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language(TCFL).The Game Teaching Method, which is that students use the language to describe the events, express ideas and communicate with people,having consistent goal with “Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language(TCFL)”, can not only create a favorable environment for language learning, but also enhance students' various ability. Presently, although the Game Teaching Method has been applied to the teaching of Chinese to foreign students, it actually has not yet been popular; especially there is few discussion of game teaching method applied to Mongolian students.Therefore, the main purpose of this paper is truly understand the mental state and learning situation of Mongolian students studying Chinese in China, and then discusses how to make the game teaching be applied to the primary classroom, analyzing problems that may arise during the use process and investigating the methods to solve these problems.This paper is divided into the following parts: The introduction mainly expounds the significance of this study, introduces the current situation of Game Teaching Method in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language(TCFL), and states the research methods and research ideas.The first part illustrates theoretical basis of Game Teaching Method and Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language(TCFL). The second part elaborates the current situation of Mongolian students learning Chinese,sums up the classroom learning characteristics of Mongolian students,and analyzes the problems and reasons existing in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language(TCFL) mainly from pronunciation, vocabulary and Chinese characters, grammar, according to my own teaching practice experience. The third part, according to the problems arising in teachingChinese as a Foreign Language to Mongolian students, designs primary classroom application of Game Teaching Method with the method of interview and case study, puts forward the principle of carrying out Game Teaching Method, summarizes the specific operation methods of pronunciation, vocabulary and Chinese characters, grammar, gives some advices of teaching organization in Game Teaching Method.
